The author of the articles in this site is an eighteen-year old customer service representative in one the call centers in Ortigas. He was a BS Accountancy and Computer-based Accounting Systems student in University of the East but eventually dropped out. Don’t ask for the reason anymore. Just curse the profs, the system and his attitude.
He used to be a loner– by choice and fate. He loves being alone. Back in his academic days (and that was just a few months ago, though), he would even dare to sit on the bleachers alone, eat at the cafeteria alone, go home alone. He practically does all things all by himself. His family is miles away from him. They are in Leyte and he lives in a boarding house here– yet again, ALONE. But, suffice it to say, he is happy being so.
As of this writing, the author is enjoying his job in taking inbound calls. This firsthand experience fueled his intention to share the wonders, the downside, the know-how, the endeavor and basically everything about being a call center agent, as well as being a son, a brother, a lover, a hopeless romantic, a friend, a Filipino, a homo sapiens and a social animal. This gave birth to callboyph, an avenue for thought- sharing and expression.
In everything he does, he goes by the fish philosophy: Be there, Make others’ day, Choose your attitude, and Play.
Carpe Diem!
